We spent Father's Day relaxing, barbecuing and swimming at Crooked Creek. Crooked Creek is a campground and
man made reservoir near Ville Platte, Louisiana. We spent the day at their picnic and "beach" area. I must say, I enjoyed some very interesting people watching ; ) The kids had a blast and were very upset when we had to leave at 4:00 because of a big rainstorm. Here are some pictures from the day. I didn't manage to get clear shots of Austin, Sydney or Savannah. I really need a new and better camera.
Here is Dad, cooking some chicken patties, sausage and hot dogs. He loves to cook, so yes this was enjoyable for him, being Father's Day and all.

Samuel, Parker, Ava and Daddy playing in the sand.

Isabella holding a shell she found.

Ava loved the beach, she kept diving into the water headfirst! We definitely have to watch her near water, she is a little daredevil! She should enjoy going to Orange Beach, Alabama in August for our family vacation.
