Twilight

I have been sucked in by the Twilight saga LOL I had never heard of these books before last week, and honestly wouldn't have thought I would be interested at all. I mean, a clumsy teenager that falls in love with a vampire, can you say cheesy?! lol Somehow Stephenie Meyer, the author, makes it anything but cheesy. I think this is the most romantic book I have ever read. I read the first book Twilight in less than a day! I am a fast reader, and I could not put this book down. I am already a fourth of the way into the second book, New Moon. Needless to say, nothing is getting done but the bare minimum lol I am just glad I don't have to wait to see how it ends, the 4th and final book in the saga was just released. Funny thing, dh and I went on a date Friday night and ended up at Barnes and Noble. The place was packed with teenagers for the release of Breaking Dawn. I can't believe that I am so enamored with a book series written for kids my son's age. Oh well, I don't think I am the only one lol I am going to *try* and be a good girl today and actually cook dinner, sew, and answer my kids' questions with more than just "uh huh, whatever" instead of reading New Moon, wish me luck! LOL

I keep hearing about these books. You're right. The plot sounds like total cheese, but everyone seems to love them. I'm going to have to give them a try. Too bad I don't live closer. We could share a set of books!

Good Morning Tonya, I cannot even tell you how Holly & I chatted about how crazy it is that you both are totally involved in reading all the "Twilight" books! I think she finished it last night, so I guess I may be starting it today! :)...Also thank you for coming by & leaving such a wonderful comment!...I am right there with you!...our family can clutter-up a room faster than anyone else's!!!...What is helping though, is that both chests in the room, are filled with Andrew's toys!...color books, cars, Thomas the Train, puzzles, legos, etc....& Listen, send me photos anytime & I would be more than happy to give you suggestions!...I have been working with my friend in New York that way, as well as other friends that live far away!!...It is so much fun!! Also, right now I am definitely decorating on a "tight budget", which also forces your "creative juices to flow"!!! :)Have a great weekend! Will you have finished the rest of the books by then! :)....Talk to you soon, Heidi XO

Lol...I only just became aware of them a week or so ago, too....but I heard about them reading a review that put me right off, and now I am majorly torn, lol! I love the sound of what I have heard, but I really respect the first person I read, and she brought up points that usually drive me NUTS...so now I am totally flipping and flopping on this. :p Maybe a quick peek?? lol

I can't start a book either because I get too hooked. I was like that with the Left Behind Series.

My daughter LOVES this series...I guess I should give them a read? She was on the third one and decided to slow down the reading until the fourth one came out so she wouldn't be deprived by waiting.LOL.
