Fabulous new recipe!

I tried this new recipe from Sharleen over at 2 Cups of Coffee! It was a huge hit! I love when I find a fairly easy recipe that makes LOTS for my big family and that everyone loves. I used pepperoni instead of sausage (only because I don't like sausage) and Asiago and Romano cheese instead of parmesan because the only parmesan at my Albertson's was $18 for a small wedge! I will be making this often for my family. All you have to do is add a salad and some garlic bread and you have a meal. I made two 13" x 9" casserole dishes for my family, which means I doubled the recipe. It was enough that we had leftovers, another bonus! It is also a great recipe for making to bless someone else, which is Sharleen's reason for sharing the recipe : ) Go check it out, you won't regret it! Enjoy the rest of her blog while you are there, she is a teacher and has some great ideas and book recommendations : )

I also have more recipes I am wanting to try from Vanessa at Butterfly Impressions and Heidi Ann from Foxgloves Fabric and Folly. I love to try new things!

I have been working on the cutest Oliver + S pattern for the past week. It is for Ava, and I am going to try some embellishing and some more of my machine embroidery stitches on it. I think it is gonna be really cute when I am done. At least I hope so, I sure have spent enough time on it LOL I was gonna show ya'll a picture, but my camera battery is dead . I should finish it tomorrow, so I will have Ava model it.

That pasta casserole looks delicious...I might try it with some GimmeLean. My son would love it with turkey pepperoni. We have a Turkey Store at our Farmers Market and their pepperoni is his favorite....Speaking of Farmer's Market...did you see Sandi's line of fabrics? http://portabellopixie.typepad.com/Beautiful!! I can't wait to see what you've made with the Oliver + S pattern! How do you find time to sew sooo much??

Thanks for passing along a good recipe! I get tired of making the same old dishes.

I can't wait to see which Oliver and S Pattern you used for Ava. I've been trying to decide which one to get. I'm a little concerned about the difficulty level, so you'll have to share all about that tomorrow!

Vanessa, yes I have seen the Farmer's Market fabrics, really cute, especially for little girl clothes! As for sewing time, I probably sew 2 hours a day, and I REALLY try to sew everyday. I can usually get an hour when Ava is taking a nap in the afternoon and another hour after dinner while watching tv. I rarely actually sit down to watch tv, I am usually folding clothes, sewing, etc. at the same time. Also, we are done with homeschooling until the fall, which gives me more free time : ) I find if I don't *schedule* the sewing time, I don't sew. This is my stress reliever, so I try to make sure I take the time : )

Mmm! I love new recipes and can't wait to try some these. Thanks for all the links. I got lost in several of the blogs and have decided to check out some local CSA because of 2 Cups of Coffee's newest post.

Those Oliver + S patterns are soo cute. I'm tempted to make some even though I know of no little ones that could wear them. The paper doll look just gets me squishy everytime.
