A Post a Day in May

I am jumping on the allsorts bandwagon and doing a post a day in May. I am already behind since I didn't post yesterday, but Jenny said we wouldn't get in trouble, so I am gonna really try for the rest of the month.

Today was easy, when I got home last night from my date with my Mom, I had a surprise waiting. Dh had put up a new shelf and peg board in my sewing corner. I seriously needed it for my fabric and so I would have more room on my cutting table. I spent the afternoon today, cleaning everything up and color coordinating my fabric. I have way more fabric than I thought I did! And that isn't all of it, there is still some in storage bins under my bed. Of course, I don't have nearly as much as some of you ladies, I'm sure ; ) It is nice to be able to see it all when I am starting a new project. And now I can actually cut out my projects on the "cutting" table LOL

Here is the new and improved sewing table and shelves

What a sweet husband you have! That is a really thoughtful surprise.. And it looks great too. I've found it very helpful to be able to see my fabrics when starting a new project. I am sure you'll like it too

They look great and very organised. Can you send your husband over to the UK so he can teach mine how to do stuff like that? hehe.

Aw, man, *I* want a pegboard...I've just been too lazy to get it together myself. :p Too bad I don't have a hubby who spontaneously does that kind of thing, lol.

You're doing the Post A Day thing? I better add you into my sidebar link list for that. :p
