With an hour to spare! LOL

Whew, I almost didn't make it for day 4 LOL Today, I kept working on my simplicity top. The entire skirt is pleated. Well, I made every single pleat and then realized that I did them the wrong way! When I took the pictures, I still hadn't realized my mistake LOL I have redone about half of the pleats, the rest will have to wait until tomorrow. I hate when I make mistakes like that. This is what happens when I try to sew while doing other things, like cooking and laundry. I am hoping to finish this top tomorrow, I should if I don't mess up anything else. So far, I really like how it is coming along. All 3 of my older girls have patterns that they are wanting me to sew, I guess I will be making tween clothing the rest of the week. I am hoping to throw my Erica bag in there as well. We'll see how much I actually get done.

Argh! I hate it when I make mistakes like that, and it happens so often when I'm distracted! Your top looks great. The fabric is beautiful.
And lucky you, I'm hoping my children will still want to wear things I make for them when they are teenagers!

Love the fabric - it is going to be such a cute little thing. I can't wait to see it when I'm done. I know you are a much better seamstress than I. I've really only sewn a few garments, so I'm happy when I make mistakes that are fixable!! *laugh* Good luck with a post a day in May :)

What a cute pattern! I wish I had picked that one up last week when simplicity patterns were on sale for $.99!!

Cute fabric and pattern. I've made mistakes too when I sew in the midst of daily mama/wife duties. Lucky for me, they were fixable (is that a word?). Good luck on the post a day, I don't think I could do that.
